First Generation (FG) students are those whose parents have not completed college, university or an apprenticeship program in Canada.
Are you the first in your family-besides your siblings-to go to College or University? That makes you a First Generation student and I want to hear from you!
Help inspire
others to pursue their educational dreams.
Why are First Generation students important? They come with unique needs and experiences. They face different barriers and challenges. Sault College is here to support you in achieving your goals.
Services provided include: campus tours, orientation - Frosh week, financial aid - including the Ontario First Generation Bursary, peer tutoring, disability services, employment services, counselling, academic advising, mock lectures, and Native student services.
