The GRAND OPENING of the turbine project took place on Thursday, July 17, 2008
Sault College has constructed a wind energy turbine on campus. It is located between the general parking lot (J) and the Outback Student Life Centre. Energy PGE has constructed the turbine, to be functional by Summer 2008. The following pages have been designed to provide information about this exciting project, including a detailed presentation.

Brookfield Renewable Power Training Centre: Also new to campus this year is the Brookfield Power Training Centre. This interactive lab space and classroom facility will be used by students training to work in the area of renewable energy.
