OSAP

To apply for OSAP online, get more information on OSAP, check the status of your OSAP loan, or to contact the OSAP office, click on the logo above.

All students applying for admission to postsecondary programs are eligible to apply.

On-line OSAP Applications are available at http://osap.gov.on.ca in May of each year. To ensure that monies are available at the time of registration in the fall, applications must be entered and supporting documentation including Consents, Declarations and Signature pages must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office at the College by June 30th. However, students may apply up to 90 days prior to the end of the academic year but will be faced with delays in the receipt of funding.

The amount of an OSAP entitlement is based on the financial need of the student and in some cases, his/her parents or his/her spouse. Please keep in mind that each case is assessed on an individual basis.

Application processing normally takes 4 to 6 weeks. However, omissions on your application will delay processing at the Ministry. All information provided with an OSAP application is subject to verification and audit by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

OSAP assistance is distributed from the Financial Aid Office after classes commence in the Fall, upon proof of registration in the program. Students must have a valid Social Insurance Number card, a government issued photo ID and the Campus One Student Card in order to receive OSAP Assistance.

In order to negotiate your OSAP assistance with the National Student Loans Service Centre you must also have a "void" cheque or direct deposit information from your bank.
