Library Home | More Support Services
The Circulation Desk is located just inside the main entrance of the library. Staff are available to sign your materials in and out, renew your items, discuss your library account, and to help you find information.
Library Card
Students: Your Campus One card (student card) is also your library card. Continuing Education students will be issued a card by the library upon presentation of a registration receipt that includes a student number. You must present this card to borrow library materials, AV equipment, or course reserves.
College Employees: Your employee ID card is your library card.
Community Borrowers: A library card and borrowing privileges can be purchased at a cost of $10/year.
Book Return
The book return is a slot in the window located just outside the library entrance. Please return your items through the slot to ensure that they are properly returned.
Reserving a Study Room
To reserve a study room or the audiovisual preview room, enter your name in the room bookings binder held at the Circulation Desk.
Course Reserves
Your instructor may place course readings "on reserve" in the library. Reserves are kept behind the Circulation Desk and may be borrowed for short-term loans. Your instructor sets the borrowing period and in order to ensure that all students have an opportunity to access these items, overdue fines are $2/hour.
Photocopying & Supplies
Photocopiers, a 3-hole punch, stapler, scissors, and a paper cutter are located near the Circulation Desk. The photcopiers are not coin-operated; you must add value to your Campus One student card to make copies. Scrap paper and pencils are available at the catalogue stations.
Lost & Found
Lost & Found disks, binders, and inexpensive items are placed on the table across from the Circulation Desk. Jewelry, keys, ID cards, and expensive items are kept behind the Circulation Desk. After several days, materials are turned over to College Security.
