Instructors may place books, articles and other materials that are assigned reading for specific courses on course reserve. A ll reserves are now searchable in the library catalogue by course name, instructor's surname, or course code.
The library will accept either library materials or your own personal items for reserve. If you choose to place personal materials on reserve, please note that we must affix labels and a barcode to the item.
Course reserves are kept behind the Circulation Desk. You may choose to place an item on reserve for any of the following loan periods: 3 hour (In Library Use only), Overnight loan, 1 week loan, or 3 week loan.
Note: photocopies must include source information and adhere to copyright restrictions
Procedure for placing a course reserve:
1. Fill out a reserve form (available at the library). All information must be filled out to process the request into the system. Forms are available at the Circulation Desk and we can also send them to you upon request.
2. Library staff will process the item and file it on the reserve shelf by course code.
Please allow a minimum of five working days to process submitted reserves.
